About the Ministry

The Lord called me into the work of evangelizing the lost in June of 2004.  I began to be a witness for Jesus Christ and against the wickedness found in this life and world.   Through many fiery trials the Lord brought me to a place in ministry with PinPoint Evangelism in Jan 2008.  I had resigned my position with the U.S. Postal Service to go into full time open air preaching with Kerrigan Skelly.  We moved from our beloved home state of Hawaii to North Carolina in 2008  We have trusted God for our provision and guidance and He has fulfilled the desires of our hearts.  The Lord had established our home church called Refining Fire Fellowship.  There was great unity in the Holy Spirit as we prayed, studied, and worshiped the Lord Jesus Christ.

We preached and had fellowship with Jesse Morrell as well during this time, before the Lord led them on the road in full time evangelism.  By faith, we left the Skelly’s as well following the Lord’s leading to a farm in central KY a year after our arrival.  After a few months we asked the Skelly’s to join us there and they did.

Kerrigan and I traveled preaching circuits from our homes in Kentucky to preach to the lost on university campuses, festivals, beaches, parades, and anywhere else the people gather that we might call the sinner to forsake his way and trust the Lord Jesus Christ as ‘the Way’ into God’s Kingdom.  We regularly traveled KY, OH, TN, NC,  and IN bringing the truth to a wicked and adulterous generation.

Unfortunately, my family and I have been shunned from our seven year fellowship.  As I exercised my faith to bring understanding about Matt 18 to the three  ‘elders’.  They have chosen to shut down the dialogue, accusing me of many things.    These elders are sadly in great error and won’t receive correction on this matter and others.  They have become an island unto themselves.  Over a year ago, I had a dear brother from NC ask me, “John, it seems RFF is becoming isolated from the open air community…”   It seems prophetically true.  To be clear, I welcome an online or personal debate with Kerrigan Skelly, and/or all of these elders.  Saints of God, we must all be transparent for we will all give an account to God for every motive, thought, word, and deed!  This disputation has been going on for almost three years!  There are many things I would have to tell you but, I can’t bear to share them now.   I have been falsely accused on many fronts for trying to exercise my faith according to my convictions of the Holy Ghost.  Please pray for us as we seek the Lord.  Thank you!

Despite this difficult trial, we will continue to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world.  He is faithful, Hallelujah!

Our family has been home schooled in the doctrines of the Bible and knowledge that will build their character, homes, and families in the future for the glory of God.

    John,

Your passion is admirable, your zeal unmistakably you. I would not have made this approach but then I don’t know that I would have taken your leap of faith. I have however pushed myself out of a job because it wasn’t where I thought we (My family and I) should be in the future. The guiding point of this story is one I have followed since that firtst jump out of the navy with no job. God will take care of us if we ask and follow. and truly appreciate what he does for us…hard work on our part not being optional. It is interesting that yours should be the first name I see in this link. God bless you and yours

    • God bless you Roy. I hope that the Lord might bring our paths to cross before He returns or we go before His throne. Thanks for your thoughts, you should know that I still wonder how you will do when you stand before my King. The Bible is filled with warnings yet you don’t seem to be very sober about the matter of your eternal soul.

You don’t only reach the unreahed but also the reached. With this, I mean that even people who have received Jesus and are cooled in faith will be hot again by your passion and work for the Lord. You also challenge believers who are in the pews, as for me, my heart burns and yearns for the work in my hand as I watch you actualise yours in obedience. Maybe my words are not put out well. I pray that your heart will never fail and the Lord will increase your FAITH and bless every of your heart desire in Jesus name.

    • Sister,
Thank you for the encouraging words. God called me to perhaps one of the most discouraging offices in the modern era, that of the evangelist. My job is to not only seek and save that which is lost but to help those that are trusting Christ to do the same.

      Eph 4:11-16
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

God says it best, but in short the evangelist equips the saints for their own ministry of witnessing to the lost as the Holy Spirit leads to sinners about sin, righteousness, and judgment to come. John 16:8

May God bless you richly as you seek and save that which is lost.

Please see Luke 10:2 to see how I have prayed for you and others.

Everyone… I only personally met him once and that was out here in Californie for a great week of continuous preaching with him, Jesse Morrell, Sebastian and Karla Bryan, R.D. Christian, Mikhail Savenko, Josh Collins, Manny De La Cruz, and a few others. I consider John McGlone to be a good friend and an on-fire Christian. This brother is one of the BOLDEST street preachers I know, along with Br. Ruben Israel, Br. Jesse Morrell and a few others. It is just too bad that Br. Kerrigan and his church broke off fellowship with John. The two of them were a GREAT evangelistic team together, but I have decided not to get involved much in this personal matter, except for the above statement and prayer, of course.

I will say this… I HEARTLY endorse any ministry that John McGlone is in and I recommend you folks support him however you can. He is a man of God. May our Lord always bless you and may your saving faith grow and grow. 🙂
